Yes, it’s that time of the year. Daylight savings begins this Sunday, March 11th, at 2 am. This is one of those love-hate relationships. You either love daylight savings or you hate it. I happened to love it. I enjoy having more daylight at the end of the day. It gives buyers the opportunity to look at properties after work before it gets too dark to see them. Yesterday CoreLogic released its January Home Price Index (HPI) report. Nationally, using data for all types of sales including foreclosures and short sales, year-over-year home prices declined 3.1%. While I am admittedly not an expert in the national real estate arena, I am interested since it affects our nation as a whole.
